Several months ago, we reached out to our friend, Rebekah, to let her know we were heading to Germany and that we wanted to meet up with her. Rebekah works for a missions organization, VIA. She asked us if we could join the prayer team during a missions conference being held in Frankfurt in mid-January. Of course we said “yes”! This is exactly what we have been asking the LORD to give us the ability to do; being involved in the lives of missionaries and supporting them, praying for them and helping anyway we can.

We have been looking forward to this weekend for many months, we have been praying over the conference daily over the past several weeks that God would remove distractions and open the ears of attendees to hear His message. God moved in amazing ways this weekend! First, the worship was sweet and beautiful. It has been a while since we got the privledge of worshipping in person with other Believers. We heard throughout the conference that there were over 50 nations represented…what a taste of the future of Heaven!

Next, as we prayed for workers to be sent into the harvest, we also prayed for Gen Z to make connections, that distractions would be removed and that revival would happen here in Frankfurt and around the world. Wow, our prayers were answered in a major way! Many of these young people are burdened for their family and friends. We pray for courage and boldness in sharing the Gospel of Jesus Christ with their friends and families. We ask that you join us in this prayer.
This generation is debilitated by fear and this culture of tolerance. We (I am including myself) are fearful of making someone angry or losing friendships because we mention Jesus. Here is the deal, Jesus himself said there is only 1 way into heaven….ONE WAY. You must believe that he came to earth and was fully human, but also fully God, he lived a sinless life, he died on the cross and 3 days later he rose from the grave up to heaven. He will return to judge the earth…there is no other way, there is no other God who has the power to forgive our sins. His death covered us, his blood was poured out to satisfy the wrath of God on our sinfulness.
We cannot do ANYTHING to achieve goodness, all we can do is simply an accept HIS free gift of grace. God is love, does that mean nothing bad happens? No, absolutely not. The reason why? The earth has been cursed, there is death and tears and hurt. This was not God’s plan for any of us but we have to live under the curse until God takes away the curse. If you want to hear more, please reach out, I want to pray with you and answer your questions.
Back to the conference, on Sunday, 2 Corinthians 5:14 (For the love of Christ controls us, because we have concluded this: that one has died for all, therefore all have died),
was read in over 15 different languages represented at Awaken! It was beautiful and such a reminder that every tribe, every nation and every tongue will one day rejoice in Heaven together. We heard testimonies from Believers from Iran, Ethiopia, Greece, China, Ukraine and so many other nations. Y'all these are dark places where you are killed, persecuted and/or excommunicated for following Jesus! I am so very thankful that we had the opportunity to participate and pray over these new friends. We got the report that 2 women accepted Jesus as their Lord and Savior this weekend…all of heaven is rejoicing!

Please join us in praying:
For the nations to know Jesus Christ;
Awaken participants to follow through on the steps and commitments they made this weekend;
That Gen Z will be bold and courageous to share with their family and friends;
That workers will answer the call to go, whether in their schools or across the world;
The workers who are struggling to see fruit in their work, the loneliness is real;
Tim, Nathan and I to listen to where we are to go next and who we are to meet;
For provision to be able to minister to those we meet.
Thank you so much for your support and prayers. Many blessings.
Jesus answered, “I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.”( John 14:6)
