Hi friends!  We are currently in Germany and wanted to provide an update on our visa situation.  We did not get approved for our Long Stay Visa in France.  Tim was doing a professional visa and they wanted a physical business address in France, which we did not feel comfortable with since his business will be online only.  It has worked out ok though, we decided to visit missionaries along the way as we travel.  We arrived in Paris on December 29th and immediately headed to Lille, France to see a Christmas market, it was enchanting!  There were several markets all over the city.

We left Lille, France and headed to Brussels, Belgium the next day.  Tim’s birthday is on New Year’s and he chose to celebrate his 60th birthday in Brussels.  We ate good food, visited more Christmas markets and saw the old city.  We walked a lot!

After Brussels, we took a train to Amsterdam.  We all agree that Amsterdam was not our favorite stop, maybe it was because we were gettng tired of moving every few days.  The city was filled with trash all over the place, one person at our hotel said the city had decided to get rid of trash bins and just clean up the litter every day…not sure if this is true or not but it was pretty gross.  We had tickets to the Anne Frank Haus but that morning, they could not get the doors open so we did not get to do our tour.  The next day we visited the Van Gogh museum and had some delicious Chinese food.  Amsterdam is very charming and we loved the way the architecture has stood the test of time…the houses were built on stilts and some are very wonky!

Next we traveled by train to Leipzig, Germany.  We had found out about some workers in Leipzig from NWA and we wanted to visit them.  I had never heard of Leipzig but since we have been here, we have learned a lot of fascinating history which we will share in another post.

The day after we arrived we met J&B and got to have a delicious German meal with them.  Y’all they are fantastic and we truly love that we were able to spend a few days with them.  They are currently learning the language and getting settled into their apartment.  They have a heart for church planting and reaching the people of East Germany.  Will you please join us in praying for them and their children?

Thank you so much for your prayers, encouragement and support.  We look forward to sharing more about our future journey.  Next we are off to Frankfurt to attend AWAKEN 2026, we are on the prayer team.  Please join us in praying for the workers to answer the call to go!
